Integration with Slack

Treks can be integrated with Slack to send out reminders to report time and lock periods.

The function must first be activated under Settings> Apps. Here you link the Treks account with the Slack account. Each user can then choose, on their profile page, whether they want messages via Slack or not.

Every working day around 5 pm, a question is sent to the user about how much time he has worked during the day and for which project. If he has already registered time during the day, no question will be sent. Treks also asks if you think the period is fully reported. This takes place in connection with you reporting the last time of the period or subsequent days, around 9 am, until the period is locked.

In addition to these questions that are asked via Slack, users can use several commands to manage their reporting via Slack. Write help in the chat with the Treks bot to get a list of which commands are available.
